is an action arising from the occupation of space for vehicular traffic, using the body, understood as a carrier and noise generator. The idea is to walk instead of taking a car, taking advantage of traffic congestion in cities. To perform the action
developed a portable kit with a variety of 7 different horns from motor vehicles. A joystick on the arm to activate each of the devices.

This action has been executed in Mexico City and in Porto Alegre, Brazil, in the framework of the 7th. Mercosur Biennial 2009. -----



Ocupación is an action arising from the occupation of space for vehicular traffic, using the body, understood as a carrier and noise generator. The main idea is to walk instead of taking a car, taking into advantage of traffic congestion in cities.
To perform the action was developed a portable kit with a choice of 7 different car horns. A control on the arm is used to activate of the devices.

This action has been executed in the streets of Mexico City and Porto Alegre for the 7th Mercosul Biennal, 2009.
